Realm of Angels is book two in the Noble Line of de Nerra Series by Kathryn LeVeque. This was a short Christmas novella based on the Mouse King from The Nutcracker and The Mouse King by E.T.A. Hoffmann (1816). I thought this was a very delightful and clever story. The heroine Juliana de Nerra was in the previous book called The Shield of Kronos as a good friend to Lyssa du Bose. I really liked the character of Juliana. She is kind and loyal. Rhogan de Garr is rather difficult to like at first. Although he is extremely handsome, he is also very greedy; and it is his greed that ends up being his downfall. Another great story by LeVeque. I can’t wait to read the next one.
