Springtime Love at the Homestead Inn is book one in the Billionaires in Hiding series. For my fellow romance readers who love cozy inns and ranch characters, this series of books is for you. Also, I had never heard of a witness protection trope, but this author excels at it. Do you remember when the great “catch” romantically was a millionaire? Now society has moved on to billionaires? Really? Apparently love is not the only thing romance lovers are looking for. Krey writes a witty book with some surprises mixed in. I appreciated the complexity of the characters and the tension between them. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. In fact, I had a difficult time putting it down. This is a sweet romance with a few toe curling kisses thrown in for good measure. The cowboy hero Trenton McGrath is Josh Lucas dreamy. There are a few twists that I didn’t expect. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
