Three Masks and A Marquess is book three in the Parvenues & Paramours series by Tessa Candle. I enjoyed this third book in the series. It is a bit of a rollicking adventure. Rosamund has been on the run for a number of years, donning various disguises to hide her true identity. Frobisher the Marquess of Fenimore is bored. When his close friend Rutherford (from book 2) asks for his help finding a woman who is in danger, Frobisher agrees, only too happy to have something worthwhile to put his hand too. The book is mainly about the chase. Rosamund trying to stay hidden from an evil cousin, and Frobisher trying to find her. I enjoyed this third installment in the Parvenues & Paramours series. There are several steamy sex scenes towards the end of the book. And even though there are 80 chapters, they are relatively short. I read the entire book in one afternoon. Looking forward to more from Ms.Candle.
