Tempted By A Lady’s Smile is book number four in the Lords of Honor series by Christi Caldwell. The basic plot of the books in this collection are wounded warriors coping with the world around them. Now this particular novella doesn’t flow with that plot line. Richard Jonas is a gentleman who has appeared in the previous books as a steady secondary character. He is not a soldier and so his story feels out of place to me. But apart from that, I truly enjoy Caldwell’s writing. I think this series just gets better and better. It had laugh out loud moments and heart pounding kisses. This is a sweet romance with no sex scenes in it. The characters are very well developed. I wish Ms. Caldwell would write about Beatrice too.
