Loving a Lost Lord is book one in the Lost Lords series by Mary Jo Putney. I liked this book. I felt the pace dragged a bit in the middle. But overall, I really liked the hero Adam Lawford. He is an intriguing character –  of mixed heritage: English and Hindu, he endures prejudice and disdain. Involved in an accident, Adam wakes up with a severe case of amnesia. Who is he? What will happen when he gains his memory back? And then he discovers that the accident was no accident but rather an attempt on his life. Who is hunting him and why? Overall, this was a good book. I checked my copy out of the library.
