Saved by Him is book two in the Like A Hurricane Duet series by Kristie Leigh. Book two is definitely an improvement over book one. Book one ends in a cliffhanger. However, I still found Julianne’s character extremely frustrating. Hunter continues to be the amazing Book Boyfriend. But Jules holds back, and I could never really understand why she builds walls in her relationship with Hunter. When the whole world is telling her how much he loves her, why doesn’t she believe that fact? I don’t think I ever found an adequate answer. There are quite a few steamy sex scenes, although they are well written. I have to give this one a 4 flower rating. I was given a copy of this book.
