A Scandalous Winter Wedding is book four in The Matches Made in Scandal series by Marguerite Kaye. I have read book three His Rags-To-Riches Contessa and really enjoyed it. So I was excited to read this book that tells the story of the Procurer. When Kirstin Blair agrees to help an old love, her life is turned upside down. Can she keep her deepest secret from him? I thought this novel was decent but not as well written as the previous book. I found myself periodically skipping pages. In my opinion, the story’s pacing felt sluggish, primarily due to an abundance of dialogue. I would still recommend Kaye’s work, but I felt that this one fell short of the mark.
