First comes love, then comes marriage… Falling in love with Pete was as easy as falling off his boat, and his oh-so-romantic marriage proposal was impossible to turn down, but after the fairy dust settles, Susan’s left wondering if she’s making the right decision. Pete's thinking big wedding, Susan's thinking Vegas. Pete wants kids, Susan wants a corner office. Is there anything they can agree on? Juggling work demands, wedding details, and Pete’s meddlesome relatives soon proves too much for her, and Susan starts dropping balls. Important balls. Balls she would never normally drop. And when she discovers her too-big dress is suddenly too small, a quick glance at her calendar tells her a few compromising bachelorette party photos may be the least of her worries. A side-splitting comedy about marriage, family, and the choices women make. "I cannot express how much I loved this book! This one melted my heart." -- Goodreads "All I can say is, Sister, you hit this one out of the ballpark." -- Lunch Break "I would recommend this book to anyone!" -- Star The Librarian
Back Where I Belong by Virginia Gray is book three in the Susan Wade series. This is another contemporary book that I came across several years ago when I entered a reading contest. In this series, each book has gotten better and better. These are definitely not stand alone books. Go back and read Suddenly Susan first and read your way through. Susan and Peter have fallen in love and now they are trying to unite their wants and dreams. This book is very well written, hilariously funny but also it has wonderful depth. I laughed and cried through it. I can’t wait to read more by Ms. Gray.
