Cocky Mister is book three in the Regency Cocky Gents series by Annabelle Anders. I have enjoyed this series so far. I think Cocky Mister is my favorite story. It can be read as a standalone, but it’s a richer experience to read the books in order. Stone Spencer loses a wager to his good friend Lord Westerley. His “penalty” is to watch over his friend’s youngest sister Lady Tabetha Wellstone during the London Season. Tabetha is obsessed with marrying a duke and she sees Stone as a mere mister and therefore a nuisance. She decides to elope with a man she thinks is suitable and sets off. Stone chases after her. An accident occurs and Tabetha loses her memory.  There are steamy scenes. I liked the “enemy” to lovers trope, and there are some very funny scenes too. I can’t wait to read the next book.
