Her Highland Destiny is book four in the Highland Passions series by Madeline Martin. I truly enjoyed this book. Cassandra Thomas is born with very special gifts. As the last daughter of the Beaumont generation, she is imbued with unique powers that allow her to be the Protector of the Stone of Scotland. But the stone is in danger from an evil king who wants it for himself and Cassandra must race to claim it as its true guardian. Fergus the Undefeated has been sent to capture the stone and its Protector. But when Fergus encounters Cassandra his world is turned upside down. Can he turn her and the stone over to the King? Fergus has his own reasons for hunting Cassandra down. Can he lay aside his own kin to save her?
