The Companion’s Secret by Susanna Craig is book one in the Rogues & Rebels Novels. I enjoyed this book. It has a bit of a slow build, but once the ball begins to roll there is no stopping it. I literally read it in one day – staying up late into the night because I couldn’t put it down.

Gabriel Finch, Marquess of Ashborough is the perfect tortured hero. He is plagued by a tragic history and carries the blame for another’s death. The heroine Camellia Burke is a spinster and her aunt’s companion. Miss Burke has her own secrets to hide. What will happen when those secrets are revealed? Will they cause destruction or bring new life? Looking forward to more from Ms. Craig.
