The Rogue’s Seduction is book three in Lauren Smith’s Seduction series. Perdita Darby is the angel of the Ton. Her beautiful looks and clean reputation set her apart from everyone else. But when an evil man threatens to harm her family, she runs to the Devil of London, Lord Darlington for help. Darlington is a rogue who has ruined a number of women. But when asked for help, he gives his vow that he will keep Perdita safe. What is meant to be a false engagement turns out to be something else entirely. I really enjoyed this book. It is quite steamy; however, there is so much tenderness in this story that I felt it was wonderfully balanced. “She’s come to realize that a man in perfect shining armor was a man who’d never been tested. Vaughn, in his tarnished armor, had proven how strong his mettle truly was more than once, and he loved her in ways she’d never dreamed of.” Overall, this book is very well written and I can’t wait to read more by this author.
