Lady Viola’s Accidental Husband by Sofi LaPorte is a delightful story. I have really enjoyed this author’s books and I generally pre-order them as soon as I get an alert that she’s working on her next title. This book is segregated into two parts. The first is told from the hero’s point of view. Sebastian Fane is a logical man and not given to effusive emotions. Lady Viola appears in the first scene like a whirlwind. I struggled with the first chapter of this book. I had trouble picturing the opening scene because there’s very little external description to ground the reader. So I felt the book started off at a handicap. But as the story progressed, I was pulled into the plot. This is a sweet second chance romance. Although it wasn’t my favorite LaPorte book, I will still give it a solid four flowers rating.
