Sexy Scot is book two in the Highlander’s Through Time series by Cecelia Mecca and Julie Johnstone. These are time travel romances. The cover is gorgeous. I thought this book was well written, but I struggled through the number of F-bombs in it. I realize that the younger generation uses the “F” word easily, but as someone who graduated from high school in 1982, it is still a bad, bad word in my book. I just find it off-putting. Now, for my review…filthy talk aside – I enjoyed the hero Greyson McCaim. He finds himself in a difficult situation and he adapts. I loved that his mother prepared him for the possibility of time travel to Medieval times without him knowing it. I also liked the heroine Marian. She is a typical nobleman’s daughter who must fulfill her father’s wishes for a political alliance through marriage. When she meets Greyson, her world is turned upside down. Other than the language (sigh), I enjoyed this book. There are several steamy scenes that Mecca writes with great skill.
